Set Me On Fire

Shake me awake
Unearth my passion
Increase my faith
Oh, tear the veil
Breathe life into this soul
Love this fool
Soothe my anxiety
Break my chains
Wash away my fear
Test me
Speak into my ears the words I need
Release my heart from bondage
Use me for Your glory
Set me on fire

Psalm 1: What does this mean for us?

If we look at the beginning it starts with "1 Blessed are those who do not walk in step with the wicked." So right away it talks about the blessings we will receive, if we choose to surrender ourselves from our lives of sin and walk in alignment in the way the Father desires of us.

So the promise for us, as believers, is that as long as we walk in step with Him we will prosper.

So seek righteousness.

"6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous; but the way of the wicked will be destroyed."

We long for the Words of God

We are Blessed

3He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
       Whatever he does prospers.

4 Not so the wicked!
       They are like chaff
       that the wind blows away.

Whatever He Does Prospers...

Whom then shall i fear?

...For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous.

Psalm 1

 1 Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
       Whatever he does prospers.
 4 Not so the wicked!
       They are like chaff
       that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.
