Where Are You?

"1 Why, LORD, do you stand far off?
Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? "- Psalm 10:1

God where are You?
I’m alone. I’m helpless.
Surrounded, defenseless.
God where are You?

God where are You?
Blind, broken, lost.
The road is taking its toll, its cost.
God where are You?

God where are You?
My enemies are blessed and strong,
Singing a sick, victorious song
God, WHERE ARE YOU?

God where are You?
I’m dying, I’m empty,
Can you see me? DO YOU SEE ME?
God. Where. Are. You?

God where are You?
You told me You’d be with me.
Why am I so lonely?
God… where are You?

God where are You?
Cause I’m right here.
I’ve never moved, I think that’s clear.
Where are You?

God where are You?
You told me I could depend on You.
You told me You’d get me through.
God… God where are You?

God, Where are You?
King of Kings, Lord of Lords,
Hear my cries, simple words.
God, You’re with me.

"17 You, LORD, hear the desire of the afflicted;
you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,
18 defending the fatherless and the oppressed,
so that mere earthly mortals
will never again strike terror." Psalm 10:17,18

  1. I am glad David was honest about life sometimes feeling like this.
